Dane Wysocki is a psychologist, professional speaker, humorist and artist who has spent more than 35 years helping people discover the power of perspective. Known as “The Great Dane,” he has spoken to more than 200,000 people across the United States and Canada, combining humor, storytelling and psychology to help audiences take what they do seriously while taking themselves lightly. After a near-fatal skiing accident at 12,400 feet in Colorado, Wysocki’s own perspective changed dramatically. During his recovery, he discovered an unexpected passion for art and began creating under the name “Gotcha.” What began as healing became a new way of communicating. Today, his speaking, art and storytelling come together around a simple belief: even in grief, uncertainty and change, there is room for hope, laughter and reinvention.
