Danielle Fox is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, entrepreneur, and founder of Southern Bridge Counseling, a multi-location mental health practice serving individuals, couples, children, and families across Middle Georgia. Since founding Southern Bridge in 2016, she has grown the practice from a small office beside a storage unit into a seven-figure organization with approximately 15 therapists. Her work is known for combining clinical expertise with authenticity, directness, compassion, and a deep understanding of trauma, relationships, family systems, and the patterns that keep people stuck.

Danielle's work is also deeply informed by her own story. Raised largely by her grandparents amid childhood instability, custody battles, and ten different schools, she transformed her early experiences with pain into a career devoted to helping others create healthier lives and relationships. Her own experiences with motherhood, leadership, personal loss, and the end of a marriage have further shaped what she teaches: understanding someone's wounds does not require tolerating harmful behavior, compassion can coexist with boundaries, and strength does not require abandoning vulnerability. Today, Danielle is committed to helping people tell themselves the truth, break generational patterns, and build lives in which they no longer have to abandon themselves to belong.

IN THIS EPISODE YOU’LL LEARN:

  • How childhood instability and attachment wounds shape adult patterns and how to break them.
  • Why understanding someone's trauma does not require tolerating harmful behavior or abandoning your boundaries.
  • How compassion, accountability, and strong boundaries can coexist in healthy relationships at the same time.
  • Why professional success and leadership do not make someone immune to personal or relationship struggles.
  • How to recognize family patterns that feel normal because they are familiar but harmful.
  • Why telling yourself the truth is often the strongest first step toward real change.
  • How to choose a therapist and understand what actually happens in professional therapy sessions.
  • How painful experiences can inform what you build without becoming the identity that defines your life.
  • Why authenticity and vulnerability are not opposites of strength in leadership, relationships, or business.
  • How you can build a seven-figure organization while navigating personal growth and major life transitions.
