Greg Ogden grew up around the electrical industry and began working at age 15 for one of his dad's friends, organizing shop materials before moving to weekend job sites to wire townhouses. At 16, he applied for his trainee card, and by high school graduation he had accumulated nearly 4,000 hours. He entered a union apprenticeship, fast-tracked through the program, and passed his 01 journeyman license exam at 21, becoming the youngest 01 journeyman in Washington state at that time according to L&I. Greg went on to gain broad commercial and industrial experience before moving into service work, where he found the freedom to solve problems, build estimates, and manage his own schedule.

Today, Greg is the founder of Ogden Electric, a union electrical contracting company he launched after customers and friends encouraged him to step out on his own. He focuses on service and preventive maintenance, an underserved market that is becoming an industry standard and creates recurring revenue. Greg is passionate about education, earning specialized certifications and volunteering on union interview and education committees. He helps others solve field and business challenges, get started in the electrical trade, and build their own companies by identifying new markets and opportunities.
