Julia Lett Boothe, MD, MPH, FAAFP, is a 2002 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She is married to Aubrey Boothe Jr. of Buhl, Alabama, and has two daughters, Sarah Beth, 19, and Laura, 24; a son-in-law, Hayden, 27; and a granddaughter, Kollyns, 1. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at the Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program in 2005, where she served as chief resident from 2004 to 2005. She has cared for patients as a family physician in Pickens County since 2005.
She is owner and medical director of Pickens County Primary Care, PC, in Reform, Alabama, where she maintains an active private practice. She also serves as medical director for an outpatient hospice company and rounds at the local nursing home weekly. She is past president of the Alabama Academy of Family Physicians and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama. She enjoys serving on her church worship team as a singer.
