LaKeisha Stokes is a 44-year-old mother of three from the small town of Geneva, Alabama. Her journey hasn’t always been easy, but every chapter—especially the painful ones—has helped shape the woman she is today. Over time, she learned how to alchemize her pain, turning it into purpose and ultimately into power. She believes the things meant to break us can also become the very things that build us.
Her experiences have given her a heart for women’s empowerment, mental health awareness, healing, self-love, and personal growth. She uses her voice and story to create a space where women can feel seen, heard, encouraged, and reminded of their strength—a space for honest conversations about life, motherhood, pain, healing, relationships, mental health, and becoming the women they were always meant to be. She isn’t here because she has all the answers; she’s here because she has lived, learned, hurt, healed, and is still growing. If something she has survived, learned, or overcome can help another woman recognize her own power, then every part of her journey has served a purpose. LaKeisha is a mother, woman, survivor, encourager, and a voice for women learning to turn their pain into power.
