Dr. Linda Levine Madori, Ph.D., CTRS, ATR-BC, LCAT, has specialized in gerontology since 1980. She is a two-time Fulbright Scholar, tenured professor for 30 years, author, trainer, and researcher of a creative arts approach to brain stimulation found in neuroscience research titled Therapeutic Thematic Arts Programming (TTAP Method), introduced in 2007.
Her second book, Transcending Dementia through the TTAP Method: A New Psychology of Art, Brain and Cognition, received the National Book Merit Award in 2014 and expands on significant research utilizing this innovative multimodal approach for the Alzheimer’s population. Her 2012 book details national and international research proving the TTAP Method Approach® enhances cognition and increases socialization across diverse populations, including Spanish as a first language, African Americans, Latinos, Finnish and German cultures. The primary focus of her work in 2026 is to help family members and caregivers provide quality interactions through thematic conversations and programming at no extra cost. Her latest books, Caregiving for Adults with Cognitive Impairments and the accompanying Workbook for Caregivers, are available in six languages. Dr. Levine Madori bridges recent discoveries in neuroscience with a simple, researched approach used in over 100 cases to deepen social and emotional connections worldwide.
