Megan Ledin, LMSW, is a ray of sunshine who is full of love. A free spirit always on a quest for growth and authenticity, she was put on this earth to inspire others and is real, warm, and deeply human.
She grew up in a small village in Michigan, blessed with parents who understood that the way to raise a child was to encourage her uniqueness and passions. Her mom always knew Megan would become a social worker because of her heart for those who were suffering, and she was right. After graduating with her master’s degree, Megan went deep into the trenches, working as a foster care worker and as an in-home therapist for young children at risk of removal by children’s protective services. The knowledge gained in those intense positions shaped her entire career.
For the last 12 years, she has worked as a private practice therapist specializing in helping children who have survived severe trauma. Over the last couple of years, she has started new adventures, feeling called to share her knowledge with a wider audience. She is publishing children’s books and answering an inner call into public speaking, excited to see where this next chapter takes her.
