Mike Fanale founded WholeHome Solutions in January 2025, after two years as an indoor environmental specialist at IndoorDoctor running residential mold and air quality assessments across New England. He's a Certified Mold Inspector and a former Massachusetts pesticide applicator. In June 2024, Boston 25 News brought him on as a mold assessment expert. WholeHome Solutions does residential environmental health inspections in MetroWest and Greater Boston, along with a four-week continuous indoor air quality program, built on ThinkLite monitoring equipment, that runs anywhere in the country.
The background behind the work is wider than environmental health. Mike has worked in roughly ten trades since 2004, including exterior remodeling at Power Home Remodeling, commercial pest management at Modern Pest Services, fire and life safety compliance for New England healthcare facilities, telecom sales door to door, and a family hospitality business in Worcester he helped run as GM. Nearly all of them ended the same way: somebody drives out to a property, does the work, and hands over a document the customer has to act on. That pattern is what WholeHome Solutions is built around. A report says what was found, what it's consistent with, and what to do next, without overstating any of it.
