Michael Palomar is a technology operator, founder, and principal consultant based in the New York City area. He spent nearly 17 years at A+E Networks, rising from digital media management to senior technical product management for global content distribution, where he led the MovieLabs standards migration for Amazon and the company's move to a cloud-based media supply chain on AWS, including enterprise programs valued at more than $190 million. He holds a BFA in Film Production from the University of Colorado Boulder.
In 2024 he left big media, rebuilt his life in recovery, and founded Michael Palomar Consulting, where he serves as a fractional CTO and AI delivery operations lead for media, content, and e-commerce companies. That rebuilding became a product: MIA, an AI operating partner that runs the outreach, content, and day-to-day operations of a small business with a human approving every meaningful action, and the first of a planned family of Personas that configure themselves to how each person works. Michael's message is simple: no matter how far you feel you have fallen, you can rebuild, and the systems that keep you well can also run your business.
