Michael Dressler is a business broker, hospitality consultant, and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. After successfully acquiring, growing, and selling multiple restaurant concepts, he now helps entrepreneurs buy, sell, and build restaurants, bars, and other cash-flow businesses throughout Washington State. His expertise spans business acquisitions, valuations, negotiations, licensing, operational strategy, and guiding owners through complex transactions from concept to closing.
Known for signing a lease on a 110-seat restaurant just weeks before the COVID-19 shutdowns and ultimately selling it for a profit, Michael’s journey has required resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to continually reinvent himself.
After more than 25 years in hospitality, his philosophy has become much simpler: business is ultimately about people.
Michael believes lasting success begins with truth, love, intention, service, and genuine human connection. Whether building a restaurant, negotiating a business transaction, leading a team, or rebuilding after adversity, his belief is that people can feel when you genuinely care about the outcome — and about them.
One of the clearest examples of that philosophy came from one of Michael’s own restaurant menus. His eight-hour, slowly cooked Bolognese listed one ingredient in bold capital letters alongside everything else:
