Romico Jackson is a retired United States Army nurse and accomplished healthcare leader. A first-generation college graduate, she earned her nursing degree from South Carolina State University and was commissioned through ROTC in 1997. During her distinguished military career, Romico served in Iraq and Afghanistan and later held senior leadership responsibilities as Deputy Commander for Health and Readiness at Fort Benning. Her military service strengthened her commitment to integrity, disciplined leadership, and caring for people from all walks of life.

Maurice Roosevelt Jackson graduated from Coker College, now known as Coker University, in Hartsville, South Carolina, with a degree in exercise physiology. He is also a proud United States Army veteran whose military background includes service as an enlisted Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Signal professional, along with an overseas deployment to Jordan. Following his military career, Maurice continued serving his community in law enforcement. He brings operational discipline, sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and accountability to HonorTruth.

Together, Romico and Maurice founded HonorTruth, LLC to acquire and restore distressed and underutilized properties, transforming them into safe, attractive, and affordable homes. Their work is rooted in the belief that restoring a property can help restore hope, stability, and pride within an entire community. As real estate investors, veterans, parents, and community advocates, the Jacksons combine their life experiences, education, professional leadership, and shared commitment to service to build a business with both purpose and lasting impact. Their long-term vision is to expand HonorTruth’s portfolio throughout South Carolina and Georgia, strengthen underserved neighborhoods, create opportunities for families, and leave a meaningful legacy for future generations. At HonorTruth, LLC, real estate is more than a business—it is a pathway to stronger families, revitalized communities, and generational change.
