Tracy is a highly respected dance educator, choreographer, entrepreneur, and arts administrator whose influence has shaped the dance community throughout Southeast Alabama for nearly five decades. As the owner and director of The Dothan School of Dance (1976–2022) and the Enterprise School of Dance (1996–2022), she built two thriving studios that inspired generations of dancers while establishing herself as a successful businesswoman and leader in the arts. In 1979, Tracy founded the Southeast Alabama Dance Company (SEADAC), serving as its Artistic Director until 2005, and continues to guide the organization today as Executive Director. She has also dedicated countless hours to advancing dance education through leadership roles with Regional Dance America, Dance Masters of America Chapter #33, The Alabama School of Fine Arts, The Cultural Arts Center, and The Alabama Dance Council.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Tracy is a devoted wife, proud mother, and loving grandmother who treasures the relationships she has built both inside and outside the studio. Her passion for mentoring young dancers extends far beyond technique, as she strives to instill confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love of the arts in every student she teaches. In recognition of her dedication to dance and the arts, she received the J.E. Saliba "Friend of the Arts" Award in 2009. Tracy's students have gone on to perform on national television shows including America's Got Talent, Star Search, and So You Think You Can Dance, become Radio City Rockettes, and appear in Broadway productions such as The Devil Wears Prada, MJ, and Purple Rain. Her enduring legacy is reflected not only in the achievements of her students, but in the countless lives she has touched through her leadership, mentorship, and unwavering commitment to the art of dance.
